Harry Cobden is one of the outstanding riders of his generation and he proved that adage with a stunning ride aboard Wrappedupinmay in the concluding handicap hurdle to complete a double for the trainer and the jockey at Exeter.
Held up towards the back of the field in the early stages of the three-mile contest, Cobden somehow got his mount up on the line in a dramatic event which saw Longshanks run out before the final flight.
