Wise Eagle was purchased for 7,000 guineas back in 2020 by rookie trainer Adam Nicol. Since then, the gelding has won 11 of his 29 starts from his new base on the Northumberland coastline, scooping around £160,000 in prize money, with his mark rising 40lb. It's been a fairytale story for his owners, The Seahouses Syndicate, many of whom are enjoying racehorse ownership for the first time. Having been to Newmarket, Doncaster and Royal Ascot, the team are now gearing up for a tilt at the £500,000 Sky Bet Ebor at York.
