Salisbury's Group Three Sovereign Stakes produced a humdinger of a finish as the spoils were shared between team Gosden's Mighty Ulysses (Oisin Murphy) and the Roger Varian-trained Embesto (David Egan).
The latter rallied gamely to force a share of the first prize in a riveting event.
