The Aidan O'Brien-trained Broadhurst produced a remarkable performance at Leopardstown, coming from last-to-first in the home-straight to complete a four-timer on the opening day of the Irish Champions Festival for the Ballydoyle trainer and Ryan Moore.
Sent off a 5/1 chance for the Irish Stallion Farms EBF "Sovereign Path" Handicap, the €620,000 purchase looked to have a mountain to climb entering the home straight as he trailed the 17-runner field.
However, when asked to quicken by Moore, the response was immediate with the three-year-old unleashing a devastating turn of foot, ultimately winning comfortably by a length and a quarter.
