Measured Time, a half-brother to Breeders' Cup winner Rebel's Romance, makes it two wins from two starts on his anticipated return to action in an exciting performance for trainer Charlie Appleby, jockey William Buick and owner Godolphin on the polytrack at Kempton Park.
The imposing colt travelled into the straight smoothly and, in what proved a real sprint in the straight, the long-striding three-year-old hit top speed while still looking to have something in hand over the above-average runner-up Botanical in a performance which marks the winner out as potentially "something special," according to Racing TV pundit Martin Dwyer.
A step-up in class now beckons for this high-class Frankel colt.
