Apologise was picked up for just £1,000 at the recent Doncaster Sales by Northern Ireland trainer Gary McGill and his son and jockey Dara, with the six-year-old picked up for a group of friends and racing enthusiasts who all know each other from a bar in Barr near Newry.
The group of around 15 lads enjoyed a dream start with a winning start for the new team at Limerick last time, and Apologise follows up here - this time on the feature day of the year at Clonmel - to plenty of noise and celebrations in the winner's enclosure!
The trip to Clonmel is around 200 miles from where the horse is trained, and the strong group of owners got a bus at 6am this morning to make it down to the races and see their new acquisition win again in what is proving quite a story.
