Olympics are fascinating games. Everybody enjoys watching it, and it brings nations together. It is one of the most watched games in the world. Nations foster peace through the games, and fans enjoy following to cheer their fellow citizens as they participate in the competitions. Watch the Pyeongchang 2018 winter Olympic Games and feel the thrill that comes with it.

However, even at an athletic event of this level, an accident may happen. If you watch Olympics videos from previous years, you can see some of the events that turned awful and led to some participants losing their lives. For example, in the winter Olympics of 2010, when a luge slider from Georgia Nodar Kumaritashvili was having his final training run, he lost control and was unexpectedly thrown off his luge and was fatally injured.

Another deadly occurrence happened in 1992. Nicholas Bochatay from Switzerland lost his life at the age of 27. It was dreadful to see a competitor doing well and after some minutes carried from the field as a corpse. He was a speed skier who crashed into a snowcap while in the competition and died on the spot. In summer Paralympics 2016, it was shocking to see a para-cyclist from Iran Bahman Golbarnezhad collide with a rock. It was so unfortunate that in the affair of celebration people lose their lives. He suffered a head injury from the impact; he died of cardiac arrest after being taken to the hospital.
