Columbian boxer Luis Quinones has died following a kncockout in the eight round of a bout in Columbia. The boxer was undefeated heading into the ring. It was apparent how bad the situation was when he was sent to the hospital. May he rest in peace.
He apparently suffered from subdural hematoma. A subdural hematoma is a type of bleed inside the head. It's a type of bleed that occurs within the skull but outside the actual brain tissue.
He gave his life up for the sport. Respect the men and women who do this.
