Epic highlights from an era of baseball when every player had to hit... even the pitchers! Clips in reverse chronological order starting with 2025 and going back in time.
This is a more complete highlight reel than my previous video, thanks to the many commenters who helped me to find or to remember even more worthy feats.
This video serves as a tribute to what the sport is leaving behind. What more exciting baseball are we missing out on right now due the recent rule changes?
I miss this style of baseball, as it was a more strategic game. Hopefully, it will return one day, but that is unlikely. The NPB's Central League (Japanese Baseball) stands as the only top-level professional baseball league without the Designated Hitter rule. May this era of baseball never be forgotten!
